Boulder Creek
Jaden crawling!!!
The day has arrived: Jaden is officially crawling. Here are her first extended crawls...
The new "old" bed...
This is Rylie's new bed...and hopefully a bed Jaden and she will share together some day in the future! This was Chad's when he was a little boy...once brown, now it is all clean and white! We [painted it this weekend, and assembled it last night. The minute it was up, all Rylie wanted to do was climb up and down the ladder, while singing her "Climb, climb, climb the ladder," song. And Of course, all she wants to do is be on the top bunk! Exciting times...

Jack and Rylie
Double the fun
We do not normally dress the girls alike...but when we do, it is a special occasion. like off to a family birthday party this past weekend. Happy Birthday Uncle Luke! (Uncle "Yuke" as Rylie says!) Here is the duo. Double the fun!!
And here is The Bug, our little smiley creature, at 7 months. Oh, we are so addicted to her indeed.

Boulder fun...
Two little hikers...
Rain!
When it rains in Colorado...it is an event in and of itself. It poured the other night for a few minutes, and Rylie and I ran outside to splash in the puddles and in the "river," which was the gutter along our street. It was so much fun. On our way back in, we saw a DOUBLE rainbow. It was spectacular...

Our play day at Chataqua
We headed out as a family to enjoy the great outdoors for Labor Day. We had to adjust our original plan, (see below as to why), and shifted gears and headed to a beautiful park to play and picnic. My tank was full, as there is no better way to spend time, than as the four of us, outside! Ah, paradise.
Our Labor Day was going to be hiking to Boulder Falls. However, as we headed toward the canyon for the hike we noticed a forrest fire had just started over the hill. Little did we know that this fire would grow to be massive and last for days. Over 60 homes have been destroyed, (some of people we know) a fire truck burned up, over 3000 people evacuated, over 3000 acres destroyed, and Boulder smells like a camp fire, inside and out. Here is a video clip of the fire last night...it is out of control...literally. Please pray with us.
