Singing in the Rain...

We have had so much rain in the Boulder area all week. There have been flashflood warnings nearly every day. Unlike my Washington roots, rain is a novelty where we live, and something our kids are so entertained by and marvel at. They love the rain. So, today they just dove on into it...

Rylie wanted to drink the rain, shower in the rain, splash in the mud, make rain soup, collect the water...and J thought about copying her sister in all of these, but ended up trying to catch drops with her big spoon, as well as scoop up mud and mixing the rain soup. Needless to say it was so fun to watch...and of course we headed straight for the bath after it all...
