The journey to and from So Calif, was surprisingly smooth! Little J-bug slept 90% if the time, and Rylie played with various toys and watched a movie or two. They were champs! We stayed the night in Vegas each way, and had a meaningful visit with the Paulson's...and a DELICIOUS steak dinner from them, to boot!!!! THANK YOU PAULSONS!!!
Once we arrived in Irvine, we were spoiled by the Winder family all week, enjoying good eats, great company, and super fun wedding festivities and parties. Jean, Mark and family, you mean so much to us. You are family, and we loved every minute with you all. Thank you for your love!!!!!
Our week ended with a BEAUTIFUL wedding ceremony of Johnny-boy and Jamie-Rose. They invited Rylie to be their flower girl...and she rose to the occasion and did a super job...even though she through the flowers, at the top of the aisle... Adorable!

The rest of the week we spent with my Talbot friends, as well as hopping from beach, to beach, pool to pool. Here are some highlights...
Tide pools at Little Corona...
Balboa Island and the Ferris Wheel...the same one I would go on as a little girl 30 years ago!!!
Dunking in the pool...Rylie was so proud of herself, as she could dunk all by herself. We need to get this fearless girl some swimming lessons!!! (On this particular swim day, she was in the pool for 2 hours straight!)
Splashing around at Huntington Beach...this was certainly her favorite thing to do...running around on the shore of the ocean and playing in the sand making mud pies and sandcastles. One morning she woke up and told me that she wanted to "go the beach and make sandwiches"...meaning sandcastles!
And more beaches...Big Carona amd Laguna Beach.
We hit Downtown Disney...a free taste of Disneyland. Here we are at Lego Land and the HUGE Disney store.
Rylie and Jaden both fell asleep at the Rehersal Dinner and Wedding as we stayed so late. It was great! Here is Rylie asleep on the chairs...
